Graduate Research in the area of Family Violence

The Social and Political Sciences Graduate Research Program including
Criminology and Gender Studies is seeking applications for mid year
post graduate scholarship from students wishing to conduct research on
the topic of family violence. The School of Social Sciences hosts a
program of research on family violence. The program aims to enhance
women and children’s security by creating new knowledge about the
risks of family violence and family violence homicides. The program
will develop an evidence base for reforms aimed at effectively
implementing a more risk sensitive approach to family violence and
reducing the associated harms to women and children.
