Monash Rudewych Year 12 Scholarships 2016

The recipients of the 2016 Monash Rudewych Year 12 Ukrainian Language Scholarships and Encouragement Awards were announced in March, and prize certificates were presented to recipients in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide at Ukrainian community celebrations of Shevchenko Day.

The Scholarships were first funded by their sponsors, Mr Victor Rudewych and Ms Maria Rudewych, in 2008. The Scholarships are awarded to students who complete the VCE study of Ukrainian language in Victoria, HSC in New South Wales or SACE in South Australia. Scholarship winners receive $2500; in 2016 the Encouragement Awards had a value of $1250.

The following students received Monash Rudewych Year 12 Ukrainian Language Scholarships:

  • Andrew Mykhaylyk (Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky Ukrainian Community School, North Melbourne, Victoria)
