Transition Year students attended a Career in the Arts session where guest speakers and current students discussed “ways of thinking about your Arts degree NOW in order to prepare for a Career in the Arts”.
Guest speaker Dr Jane Montgomery Griffiths spoke on ‘Taking your Arts Degree in Unexpected Directions’ while representatives from the Monash Employment and Career Development discussed what employers are looking for.
The session concluded with a student panel who discussed the experiences and opportunities that emerged from their connection with Studies Abroad, Arts Internship Units, Arts Leadership programs and Volunteer Gateway. A great event!
