Belvoir Theatre’s radical reworking of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ gains 3 nominations in the prestigious Sydney Theatre Awards.
Belvoir Theatre’s radical adaptation of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, which was generously supported by CTP and MAPA has gained prestigious nominations for best lighting, best sound design and best production ,in this year’s Sydney Theatre Awards. The production’s cast included CTP’s Director, Assoc Prof Jane Montgomery Griffiths, and was directed and lit by CTP guest lecturers Adena Jacobs and Emma Valente. Adena and Emma will be sharing their expertise with CTP students this year in our units on Directing, Writing/Performance, and Making Performance.
