PUBLIC SPEAKING MASTERCLASS

ALL welcome – current students and Alumni of Monash Uni!
The Centre for Theatre and Performance is offering an exclusive masterclass to assist with the sometimes very stressful act of public speaking.
Whether preparing for a function, meeting, or interview, this masterclass is aimed to help you with relaxation, breath, projection, microphone technique, pace, pitch, emphasis, engagement, presence and general control & quality of your voice.
Presented by CTP’s Assoc Prof Jane Montgomery Griffiths (MTC, Malthouse, Red Stitch, and 2017 Greenroom Award winner), and CTP’s Senior Lecturer Dr. Felix Nobis (Dr Blake Mysteries, MDA, Sydney Theatre Co.) the masterclass is offered over several dynamic and inter-active sessions, covering the key components of rhetoric, oration, conviction and presence.
Adapted from the highly successful coursework unit, the FREE masterclass is offered in a fun, creative, supportive and encouraging environment, with participants able to contribute to its structure, take part in discussion and activities, and receive personalised feedback.
