CTP offers a short module on Mahabharata

The Centre for Theatre and Performance is pleased to announce a short module on the epic Sanskrit narrative Mahabharata.

But what is not here, is nowhere else”

Professor Vanashree is Professor at the Department of English, Banaras Hindu University, India, and also Chair of Indian Studies as part of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). She will present TWO lectures on this epic work with particular reference to Peter Brook’s 1985 adaptation.

       Wednesday 29th March    1 – 2pm

       Wednesday 5th April         1 – 2pm

Drama Theatre, Performing Arts Building, 55 Scenic Blvd

This module will contribute directly to CTP units ATS1287 and ATS2271, but is open to staff and students from all disciplines.
