Monash CTP is proud to announce that the inimitable Verity Hunt-Ballard – yes, that’s right for all you musical theatre lovers out there, none other than Australia’s very own Mary Poppins (in Cameron Mackintosh’s smash-hit musical!) – will be joining the creative team as part of the newly-revamped Musical Theatre unit that Monash CTP are offering this year!
Verity, without doubt, one of Australia’s most versatile leading ladies, will join the CTP Musical Theatre unit team as one of our artists-in-residence and will bring her exceptional talent, skills, experience, support and knowledge in this area to all our students taking this incredible unit – and with multi-award wins/nominations behind her name and star turns in productions such as ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Sweet Charity’, ‘Guys & Dolls’, ‘The Last Five Years’ and much more, she is sure to be a big hit with students!
The CTP cohort would like to congratulate Verity on her recent Green Room Award nomination for her role in The Last Five Years, and we look forward to welcoming her to the CTP .
We know that all students enrolled in the Musical Theatre unit this year are in for a real treat – what can we say……
‘she’s practically perfect in every way’!!
