Tours – Eligibility requirements

Current Monash students

To be eligible to study an Overseas Study Tour you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be 18 years of age or over at the time of departure from Australia
  • Have an active enrolment in a Monash undergraduate degree and have completed 24 credit points
  • Have met any pre-requisites required for the unit of study
  • Have a credit (60%) average
  • Have received course advice from your home faculty and approval to take Arts study tour units for credit

Note: Students who have completed less than 48 credit points will be eligible to apply for the Monash Study Abroad Travel Scholarship, however, they will NOT be eligible for the OS-Help loan.

Non-Monash students within Australia

This information is for students currently enrolled in a degree at another Australian tertiary institution.

To be eligible to study an Overseas Study Tour via cross-institutional study you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have approval from your home institution to study Arts study tour units
  • Be 18 years of age or over at the time of departure from Australia
  • Have met any pre-requisites required for that unit of study
  • Have a credit average

Non-Monash students external to Australia

This information is for students currently enrolled in a degree at a tertiary institution in another country:

To be eligible to study an Overseas Study Tour you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have approval from your home institution to study Arts study tour units
  • Be 18 years of age or over at the time of departure
  • Have met any pre-requisites required for that unit of study
  • Have a credit average or equivalent
