Master of International Development Practice

The Master of International Development Practice course focuses on understanding and addressing the political, economic, cultural and ecological challenges that can lead to extreme poverty, poor health, fragile governance, inequality and environmental vulnerability.

Master of Environmental Management and Sustainability

The Master of Environmental Management and Sustainability is an interdisciplinary course designed to meet the needs of graduates from a range of backgrounds who wish to enhance their qualifications for careers in environmental policy and management, corporate sustainability management or international development.

In 2017 the Master of Environmental Management and Sustainability (MEMS) is expanding to become the Master of Environment and Sustainability (MES).

The three existing MEMS specialisations – Corporate Environmental & Sustainability Management (CESM), Environment & Governance (E&G) and International Development & Environment (IDE) – will continue to be offered in the MES.

We are also introducing two new specialisations in MES: Environmental Security and Leadership for Sustainable Development.
