The School includes some of Australia’s leading political scholars and commentators. They will share their views about the upcoming election at a forum in the week before the election. It will be a lively and informative event.
Panelists include: Professor James Walter; Dr. Nick Economou; Associate-Professor Paul Strangio; and Dr. Zareh Ghazarian.
There are only a few days remaining in the 2013 federal election campaign. The Labor Government, led by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, is expected to face certain defeat at the hands of the Abbott Coalition. At this seminar, we will review the key issues, debates, and actors that shape the outcome of the upcoming election, as well as reflect upon the highs and lows of the 43rd Parliament.
