Our research is multi-disciplinary and draws on our members’ expertise in the literatures and cultures of the world, in particular English, European, Asian and South American literatures, bringing a variety of theoretical approaches to bear on concrete forms of cultural expression. These include literature, film, theatre and television, as well as digital texts, images and sounds (multimedia, hypertext).
Our researchers publish in a wide range of international journals and publishing houses. Their work appears in English and several other languages, including Bosnian, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Croatian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish and Ukrainian.
We supervise MA and PhD dissertations in all of the areas named above.
