Welcome to the Centre for Religious Studies

  • Message from the Director, Professor Constant Mews

Thinking critically and perceptively about the variety of religious traditions on our planet and how they are interpreted within culture is vital to any education in the humanities. The Centre for Religious Studies (previously known as the Centre for Studies in Religion and Theology) is committed to the academic study of the wide range of religious traditions within society, both past and present.
