The 14 September 2013 federal election poll promises to be not just one of the longest election campaigns on record but also one if its bloodiest contests. The Gillard ALP Government, led by Australia’s first popularly elected female Prime Minister, is expected to face certain defeat at the hands of the Abbott Coalition. At this seminar, we will review the key issues, debates, and actors that will shape the outcome of the upcoming federal election, as well as reflect upon the highs and lows of the 43rd Parliament.
The panelists include Professor James Walter, Dr. Nick Economou, Associate-Professor Paul Strangio, Dr. Zareh Ghazarian and Dr. Narelle Miragliotta.
All Welcome.
