Associate Professor Nathalie Nguyen’s new ARC Future Fellowship (2011-15) is on the topic of “Forgotten Histories: Vietnamese Veterans in Australia”. She will give a Public Lecture on “Memories of War: The Stories of Vietnamese Veterans in Australia” at the National Library of Australia on 24 September 2012, Conference Room, 5.30pm.

Nathalie gave a paper on Vietnamese veterans at the State Library of Victoria on 31 May 2012 as part of the “But is it Oral History?” panel in the Making Public Histories Seminar Series offered jointly by the Institute of Public History at Monash University, the State Library of Victoria and the History Council of Victoria. More than 100 people attended this event.
