Clarinet Mega Day V

Closing Concert commences at 4.00pm
The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music at Monash University invites all clarinet players to the fifth annual Clarinet Mega Day. Come along for a day of all things clarinet!
Featuring masterclasses with leading professionals, orchestral excerpt class, warm up session, vendor exhibits, panel discussions, VCE masterclasses and join in with a performance of the Monash Clarinet Mega Day Clarinet Choir.
All classes and rehearsals will be held at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music Auditorium. Building 68, 55 Scenic Boulevard, Monash University Clayton (in the Performing Arts precinct, next to Robert Blackwood Hall).
Clarinet Mega Day 2017 will feature:
David Krakauer (USA)
Clarinet Faculty Manhattan School of Music,
International soloist and klezmer specialist
Former Senior Lecturer Australian National University,
former Principal Clarinet, Sydney Symphony Orchestra,
Australian Chamber Orchestra
Ensemble Liaison, Senior Lecturer in Clarinet,
Principal Clarinet, Orchestra Victoria
Masterclasses are offered by some of Australia’s leading Clarinetists.
There will be open classes, orchestral excerpt classes, and VCE student masterclasses.
To participate in a masterclasses, please email a brief CV and preferred Masterclass repertoire to: firstname.lastname@example.org
You will be notified by email as to your participation in a masterclass and what literature
you should prepare. Participation is on a first come first serve basis.
Registration fee: $50 (for all attendees)
Additional $70.00 masterclass participation fee
