Audition Preparation Short Course Overview, 2017

Jazz, Popular Studies and Creative Music Technology Audition Preparation Short Course 2017 is a two-day course for jazz instrumentalists, jazz voice, popular voice and Creative Music Technology students.

This course will explore the performance and ensemble processes that build the skills required to audition for entry to the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, and build an understanding of what is expected for Jazz, Popular, and Creative Music Technology (CMT) courses.

The course is comprised of 2 x 5-hour sessions, and will cover: 
– a guide to the audition process (performance, repertoire, aural test and interview)
– course overviews
– introduction to theory fundamentals
– instrument-specific workshops
– ensemble workshops
– performance workshop

The cost of the course is $280.00.
