Student beats thousands to coveted graduate role

One of the School of Media Film and Journalism’s graduating students from the Masters of Communications and Media Studies, Bianca Bressanutti, has secured a coveted spot with Telstra in their Graduate Program.

Bianca achieved this over two thousand other graduating students who applied from all over Australia, so this is a significant achievement. Every year, Testra select one graduate to enter their program to be rotated in work placements around their communications and PR departments, gaining in depth experience in all sectors of the company over a two year period.

In fact, the MCMS program can lay claim to having assisted Bianca on her path to success as she received advice before enrolling about how she could prepare for a course in Communications given her undergraduate studies were in Science, and she was advised to seek an internship in the media and communications field. Bianca secured an internship at Telstra, which alerted her to their graduate program.

Monash takes great delight in congratulating Ms Bressanutti and wishes her every success in the future.
