For decades, participants in women’s sport have heard the word ‘no’.

From being restricted at junior sporting clubs because of age, to not having female-equivalent role models in professional sporting positions, fans and participants in women’s sport have been told why they can’t rather they why they can.

Division and exclusion were the names of the game until now, when different codes have embraced the women’s game at higher levels.
