Bill Kent Prato HDR Research Scholarship/ Fellowship Now Open

The Bill Kent Prato HDR Research Scholarship/ Fellowship is now open for applications.

bill-kentUp to two fellowships are offered each year in memory of Professor Bill Kent to allow postgraduates researchers to  pursue an aspect of their own research whilst in Europe. Fellows are required to participate in the annual ‘Med-Ren month’ Prato Consortium Postgraduate Symposium at Monash Prato (8 December 2015) and to present a research paper either at or alongside that event. In 2015 the successful applicants also have the opportunity to participate in a specially tailored palaeography course organized through the Archivio di Stato of Florence and the Prato Consortium. The cost of participation will be met by the CMRS.

The fellowships cover airfares, ground travel and accommodation expenses to a maximum value of $A 3,300. All enrolled Monash HDR Candidates in Medieval and Renaissance Studies are eligible to apply.
