Publications by HDR Students Award

Awards will be made to HDR students who publish in high ranking outlets during their candidature. This encourages students to publish in quality outlets, and to submit their work as part of the School’s annual publication collection.

Conditions:

Awards will be made to HDR students who publish in high quality outlets during their candidature. This includes books, book chapters, refereed journal articles and refereed conference proceedings.

The work must have been published during the student’s candidature (i.e. students who publish after having lapsed their candidature are ineligible). Students who published during candidature and have subsequently completed their degree are eligible.

The publication must have been submitted as part of the School’s annual publications collection, and its eligibility verified by the University.

Application method:

  • Supervisors to nominate student publications on the application form for the Outstanding Publication Award.
  • Applicants who are unsuccessful for that award will be automatically considered for this award.
