LLCL Outstanding Publication Award

This award is to encourage HDR students to publish in high quality outlets during their candidature and to submit these publications as part of the School’s annual publications collection.

Conditions: 

Awards will be made to up to two HDR students who publish an outstanding piece of research in a high quality outlet. This includes books, book chapters, refereed journal articles and refereed conference proceedings.

The work must have been published during the student’s candidature (i.e. students who publish after having lapsed their candidature are ineligible). Students who published during candidature and have subsequently completed their degree are eligible.

The publication must have been submitted as part of the School’s annual publications collection, and its eligibility verified by the University.

Value:

  • $1,000 per award and a certificate.
  • 2013 award availability and numbers TBC.

Application method: 

  • Supervisors to nominate student publications on the application form.
