HDR Publication Support

This scheme provides editorial and strategic assistance in helping students prepare refereed publications. Students and their supervisors can nominate a suitable person who will be paid to carry out this service, but the School will also have a number of support officers who may be recruited to carry out this service. 


  • Applications accepted throughout the year
  • Funds must be expended by a set date – 2013 date TBC


  • The student must prepare a refereed publication.


  • Maximum of $200 per student

Application method: 

Students to contact Sally Riley, Graduate Research Administrator, by email with the following information:

  • Details of the type of publication to be prepared (eg journal article, book chapter) and the publisher name
  • Brief summary of the planned publication (1 paragraph) and planned submission date
  • Name of the person nominated to provide assistance (if known), nature of the assistance for which funding is sought and funding amount requested.

The email is to be cc’d to the supervisor, who must also email his/ her endorsement.
