Congratulations to Foong Yen Wan, who was awarded the Australian-Asian Association of Victoria Asian Language Award (Korean) for 2012.
Each Victorian university teaching an Asian language is invited to nominate its top first year language student for this award. In addition to a monetary prize and letter of commendation, the award includes honorary membership of the Association for one year. The recipients not only receive recognition for their achievement but also have the opportunity to attend functions and expand their opportunities by networking with other students and young professionals having a connection with or interest in Asia.
