Wood Group – Internal Communications Internship (Semester 1)

Wood Group is a large multi-national company that operates in over 40 countries, and generates over $5b in sales. Wood Group primarily works in Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Industrial and Clean energy. Wood Group work on oil platforms, factories, power stations, wind farms and refineries. They have designed the world’s longest offshore pipelines, and the deepest spar production platform. They help to supply water to Melbourne and helped install one of the world’s tallest wind turbines.

Wood Group is seeking an Internal Communications intern to assist the Communications Lead in a wide geographical region. Duties include:
– Seek out and write internal articles for company newsletter and intranet platforms
– Collate project information in support of media release process 
– Support internal HSE (safety)campaigns for the Africa, Asia and Australia regions

Intake: Semester 1
Duration: 2 days per week
Location: Collins Street, Melbourne CBD
