About the Organisation

KOTO International Limited is a not-for-profit organisation in Australia that supports KOTO Foundation in Vietnam. KOTO International holds fundraising events in Australia, and raises the profile of at-risk and disadvantaged youth in Vietnam. KOTO International’s philosophy is to continue to develop a support base, from which they are able to gain sponsorships and donations, both personal and corporate, to fund ongoing KOTO projects for the future sustainability of KOTO in Vietnam and in other locations into the future worldwide.

KOTO consists of two branches of operations:
Foundation: which is the ‘charity’ sector, based around trainees, their education and welfare and donations and sponsor driven funding;
Enterprise: the ‘business’ sector of the model, a social enterprise designed to raise internal revenue to pay for the overheads and drive funds into the foundation side of the organization.

The student will have the opportunity to develop insights and understanding into the operations of a successful social enterprise in Vietnam and learn about the social and cultural and business challenges involved. 

About the Internship

Role Description: Research Project Assistant
Starting Date: June-July 2018- Winter Semester
Duration: 6 weeks minimum

Role Description

The internship with be working with the Alumni Relations Manager assisting to gather information , collate and review that information to determine current status. Update the data base of Alumni so as to ensure all information is correct. There will also be opportunities to support other departments within KOTO
