Monash University Faculty of Arts – Media & Communications Intern (Summer B)

Monash University – Faculty of Arts Marketing team is responsible for promoting our courses and offerings at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Alongside this we promote our achievements, events and research outcomes. We are responsible for web content publications, news, events, social media, advertising campaigns, podcasts and video.

Duties:

  • Source or write, review, proof-read, edit and update content as required for delivery online.
  • Check accuracy, integrity and performance of content across the various platforms before publishing, and ensure issues identified are resolved.
  • Assist in the delivery of social media marketing campaigns, including the use of digital tools to support the scheduling of messages, optimisation of results, and measurement of effectiveness of each campaign.
  • Source relevant news, posts and other content that can contribute to the Faculty social media accounts, news streams and marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of marketing and promotional materials. 
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies, including the maintenance and editing of relevant websites and other social media content;
  • Contribute to and provide support for preparation and delivery of Faculty and University marketing and recruitment events such as Course Information Evenings, Open Day, Orientation, Post Graduate Expo and school visits;
