Monash Professional Pathways (MPP) provides a range of best practice training programs, workplace learning and vocational placement experiences. We specialise in assisting students and graduates to develop the necessary graduate employability skills and knowledge to maximise their opportunities to succeed in the global workplace.

Through our extensive network of industry partners and engagement with the broader university, Monash Professional Pathways is able to foster and support graduates to successfully transition from formal education into a professional career.

Position Purpose
MPP requires the support of an intern to manage a special marketing campaign designed to promote job opportunities to university graduates. The campaign involves content sourcing, production (written and creatives), and promotion across on and offline channels. The intern will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders across MPP and the College.   

Key result areas and responsibilities
As marketing communication specialist, your responsibilities include:

  • Scope campaign objectives and measures of success
  • Work with the Business Development, Marketing team and an external stakeholder group to produce contents for promotional purposes.
  • Managing communications, including: determine communication channels and timing, event page set up, prepare/update EDM templates, prepare and distribute messages to target audience/channel, identify promotional collateral requirements; reminder and post-campaign follow up.
  • Example of contents creation (not limited to the following):
    • Create EDMs (use templates)
    • Prepare social media posts
    • Copy writing for flyer (or similar) and website
    • Prepare presentation for on campus promotion events

Review campaign performance and provide feedback for improvements
