Monash College – Communications/Multimedia Internship

Monash College’s Learning, Teaching and Innovation department has two exciting opportunities available for skilled Media and Communications students, with strong computer skills.

Intake: Summer B
Eligible students: Master of Communications and Media Studies
Location: Monash College, Learning, Teaching and Innovation, Clayton

Role 1: Digital Resource Designer

Duties:
-Work with key Moodle Stakeholders to create a suitable location for the Staff Induction Portal
-Work with staff to identify key resources within the booklet and create a plan for how they will be presented
-Assist in the developing a project timeline to digitise the staff induction booklet
-Create digital video based on content within the staff induction booklet
-Create a variety of Moodle activities including – books, quizzes and lessons

Role 2: Multimedia Developer

Duties:
-Create Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop templates to be used for in-house promotional content
-Create Premier Pro templates to be used for in-house promotional content
-Aid in the creation of digital video content; this will include both recording and editing
-Film and photograph staff and students
-Create digital images suitable for in-house promotional material
-Create digital videos suitable for in-house promotional material

The Interns will need knowledge and skills across a wide variety of areas in relation to the design and development of multimedia products. As they will be designing and developing, various images, audio and video and text to create multimedia content used across a range of platforms.
