ISS Australia is an independent non-government organisation (NGO) providing a range of social work and legal casework services to families and children separated across international borders, as the Australian arm of the global ISS network, established in 1924 and now represented in over 100 countries worldwide. While principally a service delivery organisation, ISS Australia also engages in advocacy (particularly on child rights), research and training related to our areas of interest and expertise.   • In collaboration with staff, utilise ISS Australia’s social media outlets to promote our services, expertise and mission
  • Develop new content for ISS Australia’s website/s on a range of topics including projects, services and current events
  • Develop a database or contact list of current Australian media outlets (particularly Melbourne and Sydney)
  • Develop a simple media “kit” on key points for ISS Australia staff in speaking to or engaging with media
  • Develop several in-depth articles / stories on topics relevant to ISS Australia and seek coverage in a range of media outlets
  • Other media-related duties as agreed with the Executive Director
