External Relations Internship with Victorian College of the Arts

The Faculty of VCA and MCM brings together an extensive range of creative disciplines including Art, Dance, Theatre, Film and Television, Music, Music Theatre, Music Therapy, Production and Indigenous Arts and Culture.  We offer a broad range of undergraduate and graduate study opportunities as well as short course programs.

Intake: Semester 2, 144 hours over the semester (around 2 days a week)
Recommended disciplines: Marketing/Communications/Media studies/Publishing and Creative Writing/General Arts
An interest in arts/music is desirable.

Internship description:
Interns are sought for the External Relations team which covers, Media and Communications, Engagement and Marketing and Recruitment. 
Depending on the time of year and priorities, interns would be involved across a selection of:
-Writing copy (under supervision)
-Publishing events information to internal and external audiences
-Assisting with ticket management
-Conducting desktop research
-Updating industry and VIP lists
-Arranging focus groups
-Preparing surveys
-Analysing results
-Preparing presentations
