Events Management Internship

At the International Academy of Musical Arts, our mission is to help music students and professionals from all over the world to further advance their knowledge and experience through a combination of performance experience, theoretical knowledge, and cultural discovery.

Our masterclasses, seminars, workshops, and concerts are conducted by Australia’s most highly-esteemed musicians and educators. Our teachers are internationally-acclaimed musicians with award-winning recordings, TV & radio appearances, and performance and teaching experiences in some of the world’s most prestigious institutions. 

Intake: Semester 1
Duration: 1 day per week 
Location: Monash Clayton Campus
Start/End Date: April 16 – August 31
Student Discipline: All disciplines (music & communications are preferred) 

Key Duties: 
The intern will assist with the planning, preparation, and running of music festivals and study tours.

  • General administration and emailing (e.g. confirm bookings)
  • Event timetable scheduling
  • Updating of information booklets for event participants
  • On-site operational support (e.g. coordinate on-site staff)

Special Criteria
The intern must be available to work 1 day a week from the start to end date (internship extends longer than the Semester 1 teaching period)
