About the Organisation
Ark Foreign Language Academy runs 5 small schools in Onomichi city, Hiroshima, and dispatches teachers to local colleges and kindergartens. Our main focus is on after school study of English, but we do teach all school subjects. We also run exchange programs with schools in Australia and the U.S., regularly hosting school groups with as many as 50 members.
About the Internship
Starting Date: Flexible through the year
Duration: 1 – 3 months
Students will have the opportunity to assist teaching English classes to students of all ages, through participating in class activities, helping students with reading practice and conversational interaction. Although only some classes involve teaching young children, students must enjoy playing with children and/or singing.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Must have very high level English fluency
Bilingual – English and Japanese (desirable)
*** All living expenses are covered whilst in Japan including food, accommodation, and reasonable use of utilities. Regular sightseeing activities and Japanese lessons may be arranged (if desired). Does not included airfares ***
