Title: Creative Content Intern

Location: East Melbourne Office

The Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) is an independent, non-profit organisation established in 1925 to promote public understanding and interest in international affairs in Australia. The Institute provides a forum for discussion and research on subjects of topical and continuing interest through meetings, conferences and seminars addressed by distinguished specialists and public figures. The AIIA operates nationwide across seven State and territory branches and a National Office in Canberra.

Duties:

  • Content Production
    o Creating original content that focuses on aspects of the Institute, that can be used of information dissemination and or promotion
    o Video recordings of regular Institute events and functions
    o Audio recordings of regular Institute events and functions
    o Editing of all video and audio content

  • Content Management
    o Format audio and visual content so that it is compatible with Institute web platforms
    o Create content management systems that maintains security of all original content
    o Ensure that all content made available to the

Key skills required:

  • Strong time management & planning skills; ability to work autonomously
  • Interest in international relations issues
  • Experience with video editing software and audio editing software desirable but not mandatory
