Communications Internship at Monash College

Background: The Monash Professional Pathways division of Monash College provides transition to work programs for university graduates. Our main program, the Professional Year, is exclusively for international graduates. However, we are developing new services that will also support domestic graduates.

The Marketing and Communications division is currently seeking 2 interns to work with them over summer with  flexible start and finish dates over December and January.

The interns will work from their Collins street office.

Project 1


Marketing Content Writer

Project/Position description

Monash Professional Pathways requires the support of an intern to help build a bank of content to feed our social media channels and lead nurture strategy. This content, in the form of articles, listicles and infographics, provides useful information for students and graduates as they prepare themselves for the job market and careers after graduation. Developing content will require liaison with various members of Monash Professional Pathways staff for expert comment and input.

Key duties/deliverables

Develop content including articles, social media posts and nurture emails as directed.

Project 2


 Social Media Officer

Project/Position description

Monash Professional Pathways requires the support of an intern to build out its social media strategy including development of a posting schedule, posts, managing social media pages and working on analytics. This work is supported with testimonial gathering and preparation including interviews and video shoots.

Key duties/deliverables

 Develop posting schedule, develop posts and associated media.


1. The students should meet the eligibility criteria to enrol in ATS3129 Arts Internship unit 

2. Check with Arts Student services if you have room in your course for this 12 credit point unit.
