Where To Tonight is an online media start-up focusing on nightlife, dining and cultural experiences across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. We’ve been operational for two years and are looking to scale up our existing business in order to expand to other cities. We get over 4+ million monthly video views, and have over 100k+ followers across our Sydney and Melbourne Facebook pages.

The intern’s duties will include:

  • Video production
  • Researching and writing scripts for videos/articles covering the best of Sydney’s bar and dining experiences
  • Exposure to video editing
  • Analysis of social media video content
  • Working with the Founders of the company and senior journalists to receive mentoring training in online journalism, SEO and social media
  • Flexible working arrangements; students will have the opportunity to work remotely some days and out of a Melbourne co-working space the business will be working out of from May onwards.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in online, digital and social media software/sites
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Professional interpersonal and communication style
  • A love for the bar and restaurant scene
