ATS3948 Language Internship: Year 10-12 Japanese Language assistant

Students studying for a language major can undertake an internship with organisations in Australia and overseas, where they have an opportunity to deploy and practice their language skills.

Role: Year 10-12 Japanese Language assistant
Eligible students: Students studying Japanese Major
Intake: Semester two (to start shortly, to 20 October)
Closing date: 7 August

John Monash Science School, a select-entry specialist science school (Year 10-12) on Monash University Clayton campus, is seeking interns to assist Mr. Satoshi Sanada with duties including: meeting small groups of students for conversation practices (for VCE Japanese examination), assisting students with their writing tasks, and participating in class / group discussions about Japanese-speaking societies and communities. Interns will also have an opportunity to participate in organisation and facilitation of JMSS Languages Camp, held 25-27 September at Camp Sunnystones in Bacchus Marsh.
