Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO)
ACSO has been working in the criminal justice sector since 1984, when it first ran a half-way house & drop in centre for ex-prisoners. Three decades later they run over 20 programs across Victoria and NSW for those in or on the edge of the justice system, such as specialist accommodation, outreach and behaviour change support, as well as services to facilitate treatment for those with alcohol, drug, or mental health issues and co-occurring disorders. Ex-service users help guide our efforts through a consumer feedback loop, and data analysis, along with other research, helps inform our strategies.
