Two Monash History students have recently been awarded highly prestigious scholarships to study at Cambridge and Oxford.
Emma Nicholls has been awarded a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. These scholarships are prestigious, highly competitive full-cost scholarships. They are awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the United Kingdom to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.
Georgia O’Connor (Honours 2013) was recently awarded the inaugural Brasenose College Oxford-Australia Scholarship. She will take up her place at the college in October, reading for a Master of Studies in Global and Imperial History.
