Writing your Human Research Ethics Application

Who will benefit from this training?

This training module is for HDRs in the Faculty of Arts who need to submit an ethics application to the Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee (MUHREC). Like a grant proposal – or a journal article, or an opinion piece – an ethics application is a specific form of communication and this module is intended to assist you in making your application as clear (and uncontentious) as possible. If you need to submit an ethics application and want feedback and assistance in a friendly peer-supported environment, you may be interested in taking part in this module.

Duration and Frequency

The module consists of four meetings, once a week, and will concentrate on the communication aspects of writing up your application.  The module will be available across May, August and October and participation will be capped.
