On Friday 28th September 2012, Monash’s School of Geography and Environmental Science (GES) celebrated its fifty-year anniversary in style with a jubilee dinner at the Windsor hotel, Melbourne.
Among the guests were a number of graduates of GES from the early 1960s. Several past students offered reflections on their geographical training and perspective, and Bernard Salt contributed an entertaining after-dinner address.
