O-week, or Orientation week, is designed to ease your transition into the Monash environment and culture before classes get underway. It provides you with an opportunity to find your way around the campus, locate lecture theatres and tutorial rooms, find out what is expected of you in terms of attending lectures and tutorials, and meet other new students.
The Arts Faculty organises a number of activities, both social and academic, that will give you an opportunity to meet other new students and academic staff.
These are held during O-Week at Caulfield and Clayton campuses and are the official Arts Orientation Day.
We can’t emphasise enough how important it is for you to attend the Faculty events during O-Week.They will equip you with the knowledge and support networks you will need to gain the most from your university experience.
