Campus Welcome and Faculty Orientation

Students will be officially welcomed to Monash, and hear from a variety of speakers who will offer inspiration and advice on studying Arts at Monash. They will speak about our transition programs, getting the most out of your degree and the opportunities available to Monash Arts students. This will be followed by tours, information sessions on adjusting to university life and a free lunch.
Note: This session is compulsory.
Developing Advanced Study Skills

In this session the Arts Academic Language and Learning Unit will run a workshop on how you can develop advanced study skills such as professional writing and how to effectively structure an essay.
