Campus Welcome and Faculty Orientation

Join us for your official welcome to Monash University. You will learn more about your campus, including services, resources and facilities here to enhance your student experience. You will then be introduced to your faculty via ‘Arts Uncut’, an interactive session with a panel of academic staff members providing information and insights into studying at Monash. You will have opportunities to get to know fellow students, explore Caulfield on a campus tour with senior students and enjoy a free lunch.
Note: This session is compulsory.
Academic Writing Skills Workshop
Thursday 28 February

This workshop examines the required skills for effective study in the following areas: reading, writing, discussion, note-taking, locating sources, referencing, writing critiques, as well as familiarity with key concepts in the humanities and social sciences.

Journalism Course Information

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Journalism are invited to attend this session. You will be given information about your course and the study of journalism, become involved in a mentoring program and be introduced to key staff members.
