Special External Concert Event – Monash University Singers: From A Land Down Under

Sir Zelman Cowan School of Music’s Monash University Singers present a concert of Australian choral works under the direction of Nicholas Dinopoulos.

Monash University Singers is the Sir Zelman School of Music’s largest performance ensemble and has a distinguished place in the music school and wider university. Its purpose is to give singers the experience of learning and performing diverse choral works, and gives them the opportunity of contributing their voices to a large ensemble. Recent highlights include performances of the Dvorak Stabat Mater in the composer’s original version for soloists, chorus and piano, plus Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and Haydn’s Mass in Time of War in collaboration with the Monash Academy Orchestra.
