Abstract

On 23 June the UK electorate will decide whether to remain a part of the European Union or vote to leave. Advocates of ‘Brexit’ claim that it is time for the UK to regain its sovereignty and break free from a moribund union.

Advocates of ‘Bremain’ argue that being part of the most developed supranational polity in the world enhances the UK’s sovereignty, wealth and security.

Three leading experts on European integration will discuss the domestic and international politics that have brought the UK to this decisive decision and analyse its implications for Australia and the world.
