Free Lunchtime Concert Series

Rob Burke Sextet

Sitting at the nexus of the composed and the improvised, the Rob Burke Sextet is a vehicle for the compositions of Rob Burke, featuring some of Australia’s best improvising musicians. Drawing on the rich history of jazz and infusing it with a 21st century Australian perspective, this ensemble explores original music along with more freely improvised elements.

Featuring Rob Burke (sax), Paul Williamson (trumpet), Jordan Murray (trombone), Paul Grabowsky (piano), Marty Holoubek (bass) and James Mclean (drums).
