As part of the Faculty of Arts ARC 2016 submission process ARBDO (Arts Research and Business Development Office) will be hosting an ARC workshop on 11 September and another more in-depth workshop in October.
The workshop is aimed at all prospective ARC Discovery and Discovery Early career Researcher Award applicants in the Arts Faculty. We encourage anyone that is currently planning to apply for a Discovery Project or DECRA scheme to attend this workshop and hear from speakers who have attracted funding successfully.
The first workshop will focus on the Funding rules, application process and the tone of the application for Discovery Projects (DP) and Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) schemes.
The speakers include 4 Future Fellows: Professor Jacqui True, Professor Christina Twomey, Associate Professor Maryrose Casey, Associate Professor Anita Harris and Arts Research Development Manager Ms. Deepa Balakrishnan.
At this workshop you will gain a sound understanding of both the ARC schemes and further insights into constructing a successful application and engaging pitch.
For more information, please see the attached flyer. The second page of the Flyer has speaker Biographies for those interested to know further about these stellar researchers.
