Call for Papers

  • Fifteenth Edition

    Eras is an on-line journal edited and produced by postgraduate students from the School of Philosophical Historical and International Studies at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Papers published by ERAS are accepted from the following disciplines: History, Archaeology and Ancient History, Religion and Theology, Jewish Civilisation, Philosophy and International Studies. Submissions from other disciplines with significant historical content will also be considered (e.g. Politics, Literature, Economics, Anthropology).

    Eras is a fully refereed journal, with DEST status, and which is intended as an international forum for current and recently completed Masters and PhD students to publish original research, comment and reviews in any field covered by the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies’ teaching and research. We are seeking papers from postgraduate students working in any of the fields listed above, along with a brief description of your current affiliation and thesis topic.

    Papers of 5000 to 6000 words should be submitted by 30 April 2013. Detailed notes and editorial guidelines for individual contributors are available on the Eras Guidelines page. It is anticipated that the fifteenth edition of the journal will appear in December 2013.
