ECPS Prize-winners in Theatre and Performance

The School of English, Communications and Performance Studies (ECPS) offers a broad range of prizes and scholarships. The awards ceremony for the 2012 prizes was held on the 27th of February 2013. The recipients were:

Julia Peluso Memorial Prize in Film and Television Studies

Rina Tung

The winner of the Julia Peluso Memorial Prize 2012 is Ms Rina Tung, for exceptional application and diligence in the completion of her PhD dissertation titled ‘Freedom of Expression in Malaysian Film and Television Drama: Representation in the Context of the Malaysian Constitution, Malaysian Media Law and the National Ethos.’

The award was accepted on Rina’s behalf by her husband.
