A powerful idea, long overdue

Containing chapters by leading thinkers from critical criminology, law and political theory, and featuring commentaries by Saskia Sassen, Rainer Bauböck and Nancy Wonders, the book uses an innovative ‘preferred future’ methodology to promote critical and creative thinking about international borders and the perceived need to defend them. Professor Catherine Dauvergne, Trudeau Fellow at the University of British Columbia, described the book as a ‘courageous and optimistic project’ that ‘enriches our global conversation immensely. A powerful idea, long overdue’.
